Dedicated to all Ukrainian civilians (especially children) who lost their lives, home or part of their childhood due to the Russian invasion that began on February 24, 2022.
 The sign on which the work was painted is the one that in Italy marks the beginning of a residential area (figure II.318), where two children play with the ball, in the shade of a tree, near a house.
 The ball become the head of a third child, which frightened indicates the mushroom of an explosion that took the place of the tree. The two children now no longer play with the ball but run scared; and the house is battered by bullet holes. The inscription Слава Україні, as well as the original blue of the sign and yellow, pays homage to Ukraine.
 The colors used make the scene depicted on the original sign still partially visible, to emphasize with even greater force how a situation (once) of ordinary life has been tragically transformed into a death and destruction scenario.
 
 The work in question will soon be auctioned and the proceeds will be donated to support Ukrainian civilians
