The Italian raod sign indicating the school bus stop is the canvas on which AJ Roi depicted two kids who flee from a school shooter who is shooting against the students.

The artist personally shot the traffic sign with a real AK-47, emptying an entire magazine in rapid succession (30 rounds, a couple of whom missed it).

The stylized stars and stripes flag adds a little context since the United States is the country sadly better known for the school shootings.

With this work, AJ Roi wants to reflect on hatred towards others: on one hand there is the atrocity of an adult who enters a school and begins to massacre innocent children or teena- gers; on the other hand there is the malice and the fury of a group towards an individual, picked on at such an extent that it pushes him to a bloody revenge.
