Aj Roi created his version of Van Gogh's famous "STARRY NIGHT".
To do so, he chose to use a real Italian "pedestrian route" sign, on which he painted the salient elements of the original painting, but using only the pictograms of Italian road signs:
In fact, we see the pictogram of the roundabout, used to depict the stars and the circular motions of the sky; the "area subject to flooding" pictogram; which adds movement to the sky; the two dunes of "rough road", which represent the hills; the factory in the "industrial area", located in the center of the village in place of the bell tower; and the pictogram of the house and that of the tree, taken respectively from the "residential area" and "forest" signs.
The expressionless white man was instead transformed - with a few simple but essential elements - into Van Gogh.
