Created in 2024 by Aj Roi on a real "no passing" road sign, this piece of contemporary art was the first ever to see the sign used by the artist as a canvas.


Since his first works, Aj has always altered the meaning of road signs through the addition of writing or graphic elements; in this work (as well as in "PACMAN GIVENCHY" and "NELSON MAKES FUN OF DAVID'S PEE PEE", created shortly after) we instead see that the white of the sign is used as a background and the red band acts as a frame.


A masterpiece that combines the hyper-realistic portrait of former boxer Mike Tyson with the Nike logo, changed to "MIKE".
Aj Roi portrayed the former heavyweight champion in black and white, with the exception of the red gloves: a bright color detail with an extremely powerful visual impact, which matches the color of the external strip that surrounds it. The artist chose a ruined sign to portray this subject, since the blows and dents that the sign bears suggest a link with the beatings that Mike has taken and given in his career.
