This ironic work, clearly inspired by Maurizio Cattelan's famous banana, jokes on his surname: the title in fact emphasizes the last three letters. Taped to the panel, instead of the banana, we find a coiled LAN cable of the same colour and the same shape.
The support on which Aj Roi decided to place the banana-shaped yellow cable is anything but random: the artist actually used the cover of an old computer (after shortening it and reducing its thickness); a detail that refers to the IT world and gives the work an aura of coherence and completeness.
